The Assistant Manager is responsible for developing deep, long lasting relationships with customers that lead to an increase in sales, high service expectations, and loyalty. You must be consistently dedicated to providing skin care advice with confidence, while managing the operational duties of the spa.
The Assistant Manager must manage both staff and customers. They must ensure that appointment availability is maximized and bookings are distributed accordingly amongst staff members. They are required to keep up to date with inventories and order when products need replenishment. It is imperative to be consistently dedicated to providing skin care advice with confidence, while managing the operations of the business.
The Spa Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations at the spa. This essential role includes a variety of responsibilities such as the greeting of all clients, answering phone calls, assisting clients with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the client into the computer system and charging for services performed.
The Spa Coordinator should be knowledgeable of the features and benefits of all retail offerings, products sales and promotions. They must understand how to effectively recommend products to meet the needs of our clients; as well as apply exemplary customer relation skills that promote a superior company image. This position requires previous administrative or customer service experience along with excellent communication and organization skills to efficiently handle a variety of duties.
The Esthetician administers professional facials, waxing services, hand nail and foot treatments to our clients. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific facial treatment offerings. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the nails, including a knowledge of hand and foot massage techniques and a neat application of polish. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Previous experience with strong customer service and strong communication skills is required for this position. Must be available to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
The Massage Therapist administers professional massage treatments to our clients. They must know human anatomy and physiology to understand the relationship between and structure and function of the tissues being treated, and the total physiological functioning of the client. A current knowledge of pathology must be maintained, so that the treatment achieves the desired effect of alleviating the condition being treated. Massage Therapists must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
